Delta County is faced with making more than $300-thousand in budget cuts if the state does not reinstate items that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer vetoed more than a month ago. Among the items vetoed were PILT funds or payment in lieu of taxes to municipalities with state property. Delta County Chairman Patrick Johnson says the state right now is not being a good neighbor.
