A millage request for Bay College was soundly defeated yesterday, Yes 1,874 to No 5,332.  The college was asking for .8924 mills for 20 years to restore revenue lost to the Headlee amendment and pay for renovations and upgrades at the college. Board of Trustee Chair Tom Butch called the outcome deliberate.
