The U.P. Energy Task Force talked about the high cost of propane in the Upper Peninsula and how propane could be shipped to the U.P. if Line 5 is closed at the Straits of Mackinac. Former State Sen. Mike Prusi of Ishpeming and current aid to Gov. Gretchen Whitmer asked what causes propane prices to be so much higher in the Upper Peninsula than other parts of the Great Lakes states when the Line 5 pipeline runs across the U.P.
