The Delta County Board Commissioners will consider a request tonight to support an appeal by the city of Escanaba to a Michigan Tax Tribunal ruling on the Dark Store issue with Menard’s. Escanaba City Manager Patrick Jordan said in a letter to Delta County Chair Pat Johnson that the cost of an appeal to the Michigan Court of Appeals and possibly state Supreme Court are estimated to be between $50,000 and $80,000.
