The U.P. State Fair Authority approved plans to go ahead with livestock exhibitions at the U.P. State Fairgrounds in August despite no state fair this year because of COVID-19 restrictions. State Sen. Ed McBroom who represents Dickinson County on the authority says the event will be called the Lori Branstrom Memorial Livestock Exhibition.
