Delta County has until next week to submit a plan to the Department of Natural Resources on how to provide day use at Fuller Park. The DNR says day use of the park is stipulated as part of the 1987 grant used to purchase the property.

 

Day use was eliminated recently to expand camping at the park. Delta County Administrator Emily DeSalvo says they’ve talked about eliminating two or three campsites for parking and picnic tables.
